Married at First Sight UK viewers were left incredibly relieved when fellow contestant Matt asked Morag some hard questions about her relationship with Luke during the show's final dinner party on Tuesday night.

Throughout the series, Essex girl Morag has been unsure on her feelings for Luke, often saying she wished he could be different and more her "type".

In recent episodes, the couple have faced their greatest challenges yet as they dove straight in to the home stays, and there have been tears and arguments between the pair.

The show's final dinner party brought a lot of things to the surface that Morag and Luke still hadn't fully dealt with, including that Morag had thought Luke "wasn't good enough" in the beginning.

It all began with Morag reading the card: “Why wasn’t the old Luke good enough for you?” but she tried to turn it back on Luke instead.

Not willing to let it lie, Matt pushed Morag to get to the bottom of her feelings.

“When I met the old Luke I felt that Luke was still on a journey of self-love and knowing who you was. It was hard for me to see you like that and struggling," Morag told her husband, as Matt became angrier and angrier in the background.

“I’m going to explode any second," he told Dan under his breath, and Morag went on to say she "felt Luke's pain".

“What pain? He is who is. I met a really amazing Luke," Matt fired back.

An emotional Morag then started to consider Matt's comments, as while she insisted Matt hadn't known the Luke she did on their honeymoon, she finally expressed: "I got a lot wrong in the beginning."

"And how does that make you feel now?" Matt asked.

"Yes I had my type and my checklist and everything like that which was absolutely b******s when I think about it," Morag answered honestly. "To me, we were on a journey of self-discovery.

"It wasn't that Luke wasn't good enough for me, he wasn't quite there yet," she continued. "We both had lessons to learn."

Taking to Twitter, viewers were over the moon at Matt continuing to push Morag.

"I have loved Matt’s brutal honesty tonight hahahaha you f*****g BABE, CALL HER OUT #MAFSUK #MarriedAtFirstSightUK," one person commented.

Another observed: "Matt is sticking up for Luke the way Morag should have stuck up for him when her friends were chatting rubbish #MAFSUK."

While a third wrote: "Nah Matt, I'm with you….we all met an amazing man thats now done a complete 360 to make himself into someone else to be more attractive to someone who isn't actually interested in the core of who is ACTUALLY is I'm tired smh #MAFSUK."

"I’m only halfway through but – who gave Matt the truth serum?! Loving it! Finally someone is saying what we’re all thinking when it comes to Luke and Morag. #MAFSUK #MarriedAtFirstSight," another fan added.

Others thought Matt didn't have the right to get so involved with another couple's relationship, as one person criticised: "Oh my god, Matt is shocking , stick to your own relationship ! #MAFSUK."
