Love Island cast secretly leave the villa ahead of show final | The Sun

LOVE Island's final four couples are preparing to say goodbye to the South Africa villa.

But fans may not know that the cast have already left the villa ahead of tonight's big finale.

Former Islander Faye Winter, 27, who was a finalist on the 2021 series, revealed that contestants are removed from the villa early in the morning.

"They won't actually be in the villa on the day of the final," she told RadioTimes.

"You get taken out of the villa in the morning and you sit and you obviously have hair and make-up done and stuff.

"There'll be preparing the garden for the final."

But other years some finalists were given a day off prior to the final.

Ex-Islander Amber Gill spilled the beans and said: "You get a day off towards the final so that they can build the villa and stuff and I just thought that was wild because you don't see any of that when you're watching it.

"We left and then came back when it was ready.

"We weren't allowed to do anything, I think because the season was so big, we weren't allowed to step foot outside of anywhere."

She added: "We were just chilling, which was kind of nice because a lot of us had been in there from really early days, so it was nice to sit in a hotel room and not do anything."

On tonight's episode, the group share their last day in the villa together and, following tradition, get treated to a new finale outfit, a spa day for the girls and a dance class for the Love Island finale ball.

They are also instructed to create speeches for their other halves, with the group quick to get to work to try and define their time together so far, and their hopes for the future.

In the first look at what's set to happen in the finale, things get emotional as the group lay bare their feelings for everyone to see.

As the final ceremony looms, the boys are nervous as they prepare their declarations of love to the girls – and in typical Love Island fashion, get to watch the girls walk in slow mo in their glam as they wait patiently suited and booted in the garden.

Among the tear-jerking speeches, Tom reveals he has "something to share with Samie" – though you'll have to tune in to see what it is.

Later on, Ron and Lana – who have remained together throughout the show – bring each other to tears with their declarations.

Currently, bookies have placed Kai and Sanam as the potential winners, followed by Ron and Lana.
