Loose Women forced to apologise after Linda Robson swears as spooky prank goes wrong

Loose Women’s Linda Robson had to be apologised for after she accidentally swore live on-air during a Halloween game.

The presenter joined her co-hosts – Kaye Adams, Nadia Sawalha, Frankie Bridge and Judi Love – for a creepy Alice In Wonderland-themed game, where they had to pick whether to eat or drink a variety of strange foods.

The panellists even had a makeover themselves, transforming into the characters of Alice, Humpty Dumpty, the Mad Hatter, White Rabbit and the Queen of Hearts for the themed episode.

For the challenge, Frankie got lucky when she had to drink a glass of prosecco, before it moved onto Linda’s turn. Dressed as Humpty Dumpty, she looked flustered and accidentally knocked a teapot in front of her, saying to the audience: “Oh sh*t!”.

Linda quickly corrected herself by saying “oh sugar!”, then looked down at the disgusting plate of food in front of her and insisted: “I am not eating eels!”.

Linda then grabbed the 'Drink Me' option and looked just as horrified, as Kaye said: "She didn't want to eat the jellied eels, so we blended them," before saying: “If there were any bad moments in there, we apologise for it!”

On Twitter, fans commented on the hilarious moment, with one writing: “One of them was bound to swear with that challenge I know I would have”.

Another person wrote: “You can always rely on Linda to come out with something”.

In response to the gross foods on the show, a third person added: “Thank goodness I’m not having lunch @loosewomen is hilarious today”.

The I’m A Celeb-style food challenge came at the perfect moment after it was revealed earlier this week that Loose Women panellist Charlene White is joining this year’s series.

The Ant and Dec hosted show is set to kick off on 6 November, with this year’s celebrity campmates already touching down in Australia ahead of the show.

Ahead of the show, she told The Mirror: “I don't really like creepy crawlies so I don't imagine it was a show I would ever do to be honest. And I am not particularly outdoorsy so I don't know how that would work.

"I don't camp, I stopped going to Girl Guides because they kept making me camp so I definitely don't camp."

Asked about who she would miss she added: "I would miss my family, the kids and my other half and the other Loose Ladies. If I am not hanging out with them every week I am not sure what to do with myself.

"I think if I was ever to do a show such as I'm A Celebrity the issues will mainly be the outdoors, I don't do bugs, I don't do spiders, I don't do any of those things. So why would I sign up?!

"There are several facets to me so perhaps I would surprise people. Who knows? Maybe you will see a different side."
