Little Mix's Leigh-Anne Pinnock wraps final day filming on movie debut Boxing Day

LITTLE Mix's Leigh-Anne Pinnock has celebrated wrapping the final day of filming on her movie debut.

The singer is to star in the romantic comedy Boxing Day, alongside Kidulthood actor Aml Ameen.

The 29-year-old is already adding new strings to her bow, as the girl group, now a trio, look at taking on new projects following Jesy Nelson's departure.

Leigh-Anne shared a snap of herself arm in arm with another co-star, Small Axe's Sheyi Cole on the film's London set, with Tower Bridge behind them.

Sheyi said on the picture: "Missing this one too @leighannepinnock."

To which the singer responded: "We will meet again."

And it looks like the Sweet Melody hitmaker is a screen star in the making.

Leigh-Anne had earlier re-shared a video of herself laughing on the set and heading into her trailer for the last time, with her 6.3m Instagram followers.

Aml, 35, who makes his directorial debut with the forthcoming flick, originally posted the video and was full of praise for Leigh-Anne.

He wrote: "Yo! 'gigi' enough can't be said, so let me just say thank you, for gracing our film with your talent and presence.

"I cannot wait for the world to see the new canvas you've painted on…A true artist…."

Leigh-Anne announced that she had bagged a part in the British rom com – which is yet to be given a release date – in November.

Proud as punch, the star shared a snap of a movie clapper board emblazoned with the words "BOXING DAY, SCENE 15, SLATE 1".

Captioning the Instagram picture, she simply told her followers: "No words!"

Meanwhile the singer and her boyfriend Andre Gray are looking for a new home after putting their huge Surrey mansion up for sale – for £4.95m.

The Little Mix star and her footballer fiancé put the six-bedroom home on the market after being refused planning permission to build an underground swimming pool.

The couple paid £4.75m for the impressive property in 2018 and Andre proposed to Leigh-Anne in the garden in May last year.

The home already has a cinema room, a bar, a huge marble-floored hall and a wine cellar so big it has an elevator to reach high-up bottles.

The mansion also has direct access onto a nearby golf course and a games room.

But the singer and Watford striker, both 29, wanted to splash out and add an underground leisure complex with a swimming pool, gym, sauna and jacuzzi.

The long building would have been set into a banked garden with a sunken courtyard at the couple's luxury home.

But last year, the local council blocked the plans, and officials called the proposed 13ft-high development "inappropriate", saying it would harm the green belt area.
