Lily James films windswept night scenes in London for new romantic comedy
Lily James was back to focusing on her work rather than her personal life as she filmed night scenes for her new movie in London.
She is back to her day job after a turbulent year which saw her romantically linked to married co-star Dominic West.
The actress was spotted on Battersea Bridge shooting for what is believed to be the romantic comedy What’s Love Got To Do With It?.
Lily, wrapped up in a long, brown, belted coat, strolled along the bridge before stopping at leaning over the rail, looking out into the night.
She wore her brown hair loose with red lipstick and dark nail varnish.
It was a chilly, windswept evening, forcing the 31-year-old to battle the elements as her character took a pause on the bridge.
At one point her hair was blown around in the blown around in the breeze, but the Downton Abbey star continued to focus on the scene.
What’s Love Got To Do With It?, written by Jemima Khan, will focus on a culture clash relationship involving Lily’s character Zoe.
The film is also set to star Emma Thompson and Shazad Latif.
The Rebecca actress has remained silent on the scandal from last year, which kicked off when she was spotted looking close with actor Dominic, 50, during a trip to Rome.
Dominic jetted back to the UK soon after and put on an odd display of defiance with his wife of 10 years Catherine Fitzgerald, kissing for the cameras outside their Wiltshire home.
Meanwhile Lily pulled out of scheduled interviews to promote Rebecca just days later.
Dominic and Catherine, who share four children, went on to send a Christmas message with a family photo from the grounds of their Irish home Glin Castle.
She will be seen with the Brassic star in the BBC adaptation of The Pursuit Of Love.
