Katie Price picks up bargains at Ikea for Princess and Jett's bedrooms as she restarts renovating the mucky mansion

KATIE Price splashed out in Ikea yesterday on items for Jett and Princess's bedroom at her Sussex mansion.

The mum-of-five is busy renovating the house after it fell into a state of disrepair.

She was excited to pick up items from the Swedish superstore that will make her vision a reality.

Sharing a video of her bagging her items at the till on Instagram, she wrote: "Who doesn't love a bit of @ikeauk."

Earlier this week Katie gave fans a peek at the piles of rubbish and old furniture outside her Sussex mansion as she continues the major renovation work.

The 43-year-old is slowly but surely turning around her famous country pile from a derelict ruin to a fully functioning family home once again.

In a new YouTube video in which son Harvey receives a new electric mobility scooter, the 19-year-old takes a seat on an old grey sofa.

In the background is a pile of fence panels and other debris, while a skip full of old items is situated outside the front door.

Katie has created an Instagram page to document the transformation, and it often features lavish interior inspiration.

The house has had multiple issues in recent years from being targeted by vandals to spooky goings on.

Meanwhile Katie purchased Harvey's new vehicle to help him get around a bit easier, and he couldn’t wait to try it out.

The teen is seen taking it for a spin in the grounds, but as he got to grips with it he went careering into a fence – leaving both him and Katie flustered.

Harvey exclaimed “Oh f**k”, while Katie quickly reversed them to safety.

Katie has been working hard to give her son his own independence as he gets older.

He recently moved into assisted living accommodation after Katie spent six months visiting colleges for children with autism and learning disabilities.

Harvey is partially blind, autistic and has Prader-Willi syndrome.

In the past, Harvey's condition has led to major health concerns, as his condition makes him constantly feel hungry.

And his autism means that sudden noises can lead him to physically lash out.
