I'm A Celeb fans believe the producers have put Matt Hancock in a red shirt as a secret way to troll the former MP.

Matt, who was an MP for the Conservative party, has been wearing a red shirt, red being the colour of the opposing political party, Labour.

Eagle-eyed fans took to Twitter to share the colour fumble producers had, but instantly assumed it was their way of playing a prank on the politician.

"I see they've given Matt a "Labour Red" shirt. #ImACeleb", one wrote.

Another added: "Matt looking upset because he's been given the red shirt #ImACeleb".

A third laughed: "I hope they put Matt in the red shirt on purpose bc that would be very funny #imaceleb #imacelebrity".

A fourth chimed in, sarcastically writing: "Nice to see Matt supporting the Labour red shirt #ImACeleb".

When he was a member of Parliament, Matt worked with Conservative leader Boris Johnson during the Covid pandemic as Health Secretary.

He left his job soon after his affair with former aide Gina Coladangelo was exposed and revealed that he'd broken his own social distancing rules.

Before his controversial move to join this year's cast of I'm a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here as a wildcard, Matt was the MP for West Suffolk.

His decision to join the ITV show was meet with a barrage of criticism including that of the current Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, who revealed he was "disappointed" at Matt's new career move.

Since joining the show, Matt has completed six horrifying trials, learned the dance moves to Candy, strutted his stuff on an imaginary camp catwalk and flexed his vocal chords to Ed Sheeran's Perfect for viewers at home.
