Helen Flanagan confirms when she plans to return to Corrie as Rosie

Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan has been speaking about when she’d like to return to the ITV soap and reprise her role as Rosie Webster.

The actress, who left her role in 2018 to go on maternity leave, is often asked about when we could be seeing Rosie again.

While Helen is certainly up for heading back to the cobbles, a return isn’t on the way just yet as the actress would rather wait until her youngest child, Charlie, is a ‘bit older’.

‘I’d love to go back to Coronation Street at some point’, she told OK! Magazine.

‘I think it’s obvious that everything I do work-wise just works around the kids. So yeah, probably when Charlie gets a little bit older, maybe.’

While we may not see Helen play the role of Rosie Webster just yet, she is one of the many names rumoured to be taking part in the All Stars series of I’m A Celebrity.

The one-off special, taking place in South Africa, will see previous iconic contestants return to our screens for more gruelling challenges – and Helen could be part of the cast.

An insider told The Sun: ‘Helen is an absolute catch for ITV and they are thrilled she is finally on board.

‘It has taken months of negotiations because it is a big decision to spend so long away from her young children but she has finally come around to the idea.

‘She was brilliant telly back in 2012 and is bound to be just as entertaining this time around — especially if she gets voted into doing the trials again.’

Other celebs linked to return include Countdown numbers whizz Carol Vorderman, Lady Colin Campbell and Made In Chelsea star Georgia Toffolo.
