Gordon Ramsay has revealed that his daughter Tilly had surgery to remove a non-cancerous tumour when she was just 12-years-old.
The TV chef welled up as the pair appeared on a special Stand Up To Cancer episode of Gogglebox on Friday night.
Gordon explained how cancer had affected his family in the past, before adding that Tilly – now 20 – once underwent a series of MRI scans when doctors thought she may have the disease.

The Kitchen Nightmares star then burst into tears as the duo watched the story of Emily – who passed away aged 22 after begin diagnosed with the worst stage of cancer.
Emotional Gordon then said: "When we found out you had a tumour when you were 12 and that was that horrible period of, is it cancer or is it non-malignant so going into theatre with you… do you remember?"
After Tilly nodded, Gordon added: ""And it wasn't cancer. F***ing hell."
Tilly then responded: "I was very lucky."
Speaking ahead of their appearance on the show, Gordon and Tilly said: "We’re always happy to support the superb work that Stand Up To Cancer do, and despite our TV tastes being polar opposites, we had a lot of fun filming this very special episode of Gogglebox.
"Every penny raised goes towards finding cures for cancer so I hope we can help raise bucket-loads of money."
In the same episode, meanwhile, Tilly confirmed she's in a secret relationship with a mystery partner.
Gordon asked: "Have you got a boyfriend, yes or no?"
After more interrogation from her dad, Tilly refused to deny that she had a boyfriend, leading Gordon to exclaim: "Yes! She's got a boyfriend. Finally."
Gordon could then be seen dancing around the room as Tilly sank quietly into the corner without revealing any more information about her mystery beau.
Gogglebox airs at 9pm on Friday nights on Channel 4.
