Emmerdale spoilers see Samson Dingle report Amelia Spencer to social services in twist

Emmerdale is set for explosive scenes next week as Samson Dingle reports Amelia Spencer to social services.

Only recently, Samson has struggled to bond with daughter Esther even telling the newborn in a chilling moment: "I don't want to be your dad and I will not let you ruin my life."

And in upcoming scenes, a worn out Amelia is starting to doubt her abilities as a mum but Dan Spencer reassures her things will get better.

Later, when Amelia struggles for a babysitter, Lydia has an idea as she piles baby Esther onto Samson as he is left fuming.

To which Samson leaves his family and Amelia stunned as he suggests putting baby Esther up for adoption as he cruelly reminds her of her previous abortion plans.

Later, Noah Dingle reassures Amelia she's a great mum and sweetly reveals he's even set up a cot in his room for Esther.

However, things go from bad to worse when Noah and Samson have a heated row as the latter decides to do something major.

Calling social services he sinks to a new low, pleading with them to take Esther into care….

And the next day, a confused Dan opens the door to a social worker and a worried Amelia is shocked to learn there’s been a complaint made about baby Esther’s welfare…

Gutted to learn what Samson has done, Sam pours his heart out, rationalising the sacrifice he made to make up for Alice’s death.

To which Samson delivers a low blow, stating he doesn’t want to be anything like his dad. This is all too much for Sam as he collapses to the ground…
