I’m A Celebrity alumni Emily Atack, 29, and Joel Dommett, 33, have been announced as hosts for Singleton.
The Inbetweeners star Emily and comedian Joel will be on hand to plug to Love Island-shaped hole in our hearts, as Singleton is set to replace Love Island once the series ends on Monday 29 July.
Both hosts confirmed the exciting news on their Instagrams sharing a photo of the pair.
In Emily’s caption she said: “Everyone sick to death of announcements!?! Good.. so.. I am over the MOON to be able to finally tell you, that I will be hosting SINGLETOWN with my pal @joeldommett coming soon to @itv2.”
And, Joel added in his caption: “It’s incredible. Really. 15 episodes coming soon into your lives and televisions. [sic]”
The ITV2 show, which isn’t technically for single people, will see five couples decide if they want to press pause on their relationships and spend a summer experiencing single life in London.
The series looks at why each couple have decided to put their relationship on hold and if they’re ready to take the next step in their relationship.
Then, at the end of their summer, the couples will have to choose if they’re going to get back together or end their relationship.
Emily and Joel will act as mentors to the couples while hosting the show.
Emily’s sister Martha Atack teased the show, saying: “Just seen episode one of this one, it's F***ING GREAT.”
A start date hasn’t been confirmed for the show, but it’s expected to start after the Love Island series finale.
The series finale of Love Island is expected to take place on Monday, when Caroline Flack will crown the winning couple.
Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae, who appeared to ‘have sex’ on the show this week , are favourites to win the show.
But fans, including Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey, have been pleading to let Ovie Soko win alone .
