EastEnders legend teases game-changing episode for the women of Walford | The Sun

ONE of EastEnders' most prolific writers has teased an epic episode of the BBC soap is on its way – and its all about the women of Walford.

In a new social media trailer, various leading ladies of Albert Square can be seen debating what's next to come for them and it teases dramatic consequences.

Now famed soap writer Daran Little has confirmed he is behind the episode in question and confirmed that it would be something 'different' for the hit BBC show.

Writing about the upcoming landmark episode, Daran said: "So, my next episode is something a little bit different and a big tribute to the icon women of Walford…"

The epic trailer begins with Linda Carter who has been dealt a devastating blow recently following the disappearance of ex Mick.

In the clip, she can be heard saying: "There is a moment, just before you do something."

Continuing the narrative, the clip then shifts to Stacey Slater, first showing her in the burger van where she works before cutting to her looking all glammed up but appearing apprehensive.

She adds in the voiceover: "Where time freezes."

Suki Panesar is next up to take centre stage as she questions: "And you think, is this really happening?"

In another contrast between being at work and putting on your glad-rags, two shots of Kathy Beale appear next, both in the cafe and then wearing a blue dress.
