Stacey Slater (played by Lacey Turner) has recently returned to EastEnders after being framed and put in prison by Ruby Allen (Louisa Lytton). Her return to the Square left ex-husband Martin Fowler (James Bye) dumbfounded when she revealed she’d remarried during her sentence to Eve Unwin (Heather Peace). However, has Eve been seducing Kheerat Panesar (Jaz Singh Deol) behind her back as part of her latest scheme?
The Slaters and the Panesars have locked horns over landlord Suki Panesar’s (Balvinder Sopal) plan to evict Stacey and her family.
Stacey’s mum Jean (Gillian Wright) was left fuming when her daughter told her she’d tied the knot with fellow former convict Eve.
In scenes yet to air on the soap, Eve will try to win Jean over by giving her pointers on how to win over Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman), as Harvey’s mean son Aaron (Charlie Wernham) secretly plies his father with vodka, slipping the stuff into his beer.
Later on, it emerges Suki’s bought a GP surgery and is keen for her daughter Ash (Gurlaine Kaur Garcha) to make it a success as she’s a doctor.
However, after Eve attempts a grand gesture for Jean that ends in disaster, suddenly she collapses at the Minute Mart.
Suki is dubious but after confirming a previous back injury, Eve turns on the charm and convinces Ash to prescribe her strong painkillers.
Ash is left smitten but her kindness comes back to bite her when Eve reveals she has the upper hand.
Later that evening, Kheerat runs into a thief at the office, tackles them to the ground in explosive scenes on the BBC soap.
Meanwhile, Eve helps Jean get ready for her second date and she heads off to meet Harvey as Stacey is suspicious about her new wife’s injury.
Elsewhere, Kheerat becomes furious when Ash explains that the Slaters tricked her.
Jean and Harvey get chatting as Kheerat arrives and hands over the cash, insisting that it be the end of their family fallout.
Later on, Eve refuses to tell Jean and Stacey what she did to change Kheerat’s mind.
