CHARLOTTE Dawson has revealed her heartbreak that her dad Les will never get to meet her baby son.
In a moving tribute on what would have been the TV legend's 90th birthday, the new mum said it "hurts" knowing he won't see his grandson grow up.
Charlotte, 28, who gave birth to a healthy baby boy called Noah, paid a heartfelt tribute to her dad.
The reality TV star admitted that her recent birth was tinged with sadness knowing that dad Les, who died aged 62 in 1993, would never meet baby Noah.
Taking to her Instagram story, Charlotte posted a series of sweet pictures of herself as a newborn with her dad, writing she "felt him around her all the time".
"Today would have been my dad's 90th birthday," she began. "A week ago today our beautiful son came into the world.
"I love that you are both Aquarius, and I feel you around all the time. I know you will guide and protect us forever."
Beside a photo of Les pulling a comical face as he held his young daughter, Charlotte wrote to her dad that he was "still so loved by everyone".
"I miss you so much everyday, it never gets easier," she penned. "Especially with such an important thing happening in my life, not having you by my side kills me but I know you're there.
"You're such a legend and if you could see how loved you still are by everyone. It's truly amazing. I wish you were here."
A third snap saw the family together, with beaming parents Les and Tracy cuddling Charlotte – who was six months old when her dad died.
"[It] breaks my heart, I wish you could cuddle with your grandson and be with him," the TV personality continued.
She revealed it would be "the first year" she hasn't visited her dad's statue in Lancashire, but that she would soon be bringing her son there to see his grandad.
"Happy heavenly birthday my hero," Charlotte concluded the series of moving posts. "I love you forever and always. Your Lotty."
Charlotte gave birth to her son a week ago, bravely posing for pictures during her eight hour labour.
Her fiancé Matt Sarsfield revealed she had given birth, and even gave fans a sneak peek of the baby dressed in a blue babygro embroidered with 'Prince'.
"Baby and mum doing well! Thanks for the messages," the proud new dad posted on Instagram.
The new mum has been open about sharing her pregnancy with fans on Instagram and her labour was no different, appearing in snaps in her nightie with her hair scraped up into a no-fuss bun.
Proud Matt had his arm around her shoulder in one shot, and was clearly beaming with joy despite his mouth being covered with a protective face mask.
He captioned the post: "We're all set ready for our little man! Charlotte's waters broke at 4.30, so proud of my girl @charlottedawsy she’s a trooper."
Charlotte previously broke down in tears when she revealed she could see her late dad's face in one of her baby scans.
