Trump’s finances

Fox News Digital learned Wednesday that the Trump administration’s Treasury Department is in a situation where it weighs the “broad” possibilities to simplify the IRS.
“The Treasury Department is considering various possible simplification plans based on the Trump administration’s focus on efficiency and deficit reduction,” a Treasury spokesman told Fox News Digital on Wednesday afternoon.
“No plans have been approved so far, but modernization must be carried out to keep up with the process of Americans filing taxes, including the reality that 90% of the above personal tax returns were made electronically,” the spokesperson continued. “These changes are intended to improve customer service for taxpayers and ensure a smooth and successful filing season.”
