Trump takes Jiu-jitsu as judge’s order to send Guantanamo back to Venezuela
The Trump administration sent three illegal immigrants to Venezuela in response to a judge’s ruling that prevented them from being sent to Guantanamo Bay as part of the ongoing destruction of illegal immigrants.
New Mexico U.S. District Judge Kenneth J. Gonzales released a memorandum on Friday announcing the court’s status quo meeting for three Venezuelan immigrants at its March 3 status quo meeting , after it blocked the Trump administration’s efforts to transfer immigrants to Guantanamo Bay.
Gonzalez said that since then, respondents have filed a notice of dismissal, “notifying the court that all three petitioners were removed from office to their native Venezuela on February 10, 2025.”

The Trump administration vowed to expel millions of people estimated to live in the U.S., including deporting some illegal immigrants to U.S. naval bases in Guantanamo Bay.
Trump claims that those deported to Guantanamo are “highly dangerous criminal foreigners.”
However, some immigration advocates have raised huge controversy over the concept.

Judge Gonzalez finally approved the request for a temporary restraining order to prevent his transfer to Guantanamo and ordered the parties to return to court for a status meeting on March 3.
In response, the government seems to have taken the matter into its own hands.
