Three people found stabbed to death in Baldwin Park home the day after Christmas

Three people were found dead in a Baldwin Park home the day after Christmas, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials said.

Authorities discovered three bodies, two women and a man, at a home in the 4700 block of Bogart Avenue on Thursday around 6:48 p.m.

No details are available at this time, but the case is being investigated as a homicide.

Baldwin Park police told reporters the victim was stabbed multiple times and a person of interest was taken into custody. Authorities said the man was confronted by police when they arrived at the home, but he tried to drive away and was involved in a crash.

“I knew he was from this house, but I didn’t know if he actually lived there or what his connection to the house was,” Lt. Michael Modica told KABC-TV.

Authorities added that they did not believe the violence was a random act but did not comment on a motive.
