U.S. fighter jet shot down by friendly fire over the Red Sea

Two U.S. Navy pilots ejected safely over the Red Sea on Sunday after their fighter jet was shot down by suspected friendly fire, U.S. Central Command said. The aircraft was accidentally hit by the USS Gettysburg, a missile cruiser that was part of an aircraft carrier strike group in the area. NBC News’ Raf Sanchez reported from Jerusalem.
