This Fox News clip shows how much the truck will be after the tariffs become popular
Donald Trump imposes a 25% tariff on most commodities in Canada and Mexico.
These tariffs could lead to price increases, from vegetables, fruits, beer, to cars and auto parts (among other matters).
Well, Fox went to a Pennsylvania auto dealership to show what these tariffs mean for the truck’s price, and the clip is spreading.
here it is:
“The impact on tariffs could be zero,” said journalist Jeff Flock. “The Dodge Ram truck ($80,000) immediately turned into $100,000.”
Yes, a $100,000 truck.
Why are prices rising? Well, in another clip found on media affairs, the reporter showed the Jeep Compass made in Mexico.
What will the price of Jeep Compass? The sticker price is $37,000, but the price may rise to $43,000 due to tariffs.
In the clip, the car dealer owner said, “Yes, you know, we’re scared. It’s going to have a huge impact on our business.”
Great, that’s a car. Now, let’s see some viral reactions.
We have Lawrence O’Donnell said: “Trump’s $100,000 pickup truck is on the market today because of Trump’s tariffs.”
@Robgeorge said: “$200,000 between friends?”
Finally, we have @voiceofobrien: “Egg, Egg”.
