There are 10 out of 10 points to watch this spring

At least one of the most interesting elements of spring training for the roster Construction Minutiae feast is the few players selected for the minor leagues. MLBTR just released a full list of such players released earlier today.
In many cases, it doesn’t matter if the player without a minor league option. Justin Steele,,,,, Isaac Paredes and Evan Phillips is one of the players who fit the description but have no risk of losing their MLB roster position. They are all key players on the major league roster and will not be sent to the danger of minors anyway.
However, there are usually a handful of players participating in the lineup bubble with their current club every spring, but they may be more suitable for teams competing in their current position. Most of these players have already gained a lot of league chances in current clubs, but have not grasped the roster firmly, whether due to injuries or poor performance (or both). When players run out of their minor league choices, they tend to face increased competition from young players on minor league ranks and/or through trade or free agents. A player who doesn’t fit his current roster can still continue to find more solid roles and some success elsewhere.
