The wrong driver triggers a fatal crash on Highway 405

A fatal error crash briefly closed Highway 405 in Los Angeles on Tuesday morning authorities said.

According to the California Highway Patrol, an SUV reportedly drove 60 to 70 mph south on the highway near Getty Center Avenue after 4 a.m. Tuesday.

The car reportedly participated in a three to five car crash near Skirball Center Drive three minutes after the first call. According to KTLA-TV, at least one person was killed in the crash.

Northbound 405 at Sherman Oaks is completely closed until two lanes reopen after 6 a.m.
