The United States puts pressure on Ukraine to demand its UN resolution to withdraw its troops
UN (AP) – The United States has withdrawn its European-backed UN resolution to Ukraine, demanding immediate withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine in support of the U.S. proposal that does not mention the invasion of Moscow, U.S. officials and European officials said Sunday.
But Ukraine refused to propose its draft resolution, and the UN General Assembly will vote on Monday, the third anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, said two European diplomats.
