The Philadelphia Eagles are the Super Bowl champion after defeating the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 on Sunday in New Orleans.
The bets were high from the start: two years ago in the Super Bowl rematch, the Hawks were fighting for a second NFL title, while the Kansas City Chiefs tried to make history with “three games.”
But, after the last whistle came, the Hawks raised the Vince Lombardy Trophy. Philadelphia has ruled the Chiefs since the first quarter. The Hawks led 37-6, leading 37-6 before Kansas City had several touchdowns.
