(FOX40.com) – Sacramento County Sheriff’s Officer is investigating a shooting involving a gas station owner Friday night.
The SCSO said around 7:15 p.m. that the store owner of Fasttrip Gas Tast, 8061 Florin Road, shot twice in the chest. However, the shooting is not clear, and the sheriff’s office said the incident was not a robbery. The store owner has been detained and the gun owner was reportedly recovered by a representative.

According to SCSO, the incident began when the store owner left the premises after a shift. During this period, the victim sat outside the store with a woman, which is still open. The store owner returned to FastTrip for unknown reasons and began talking to the victim and the woman.
The store owner was “slightly scared” during the conversation and shot the victim twice, deputies said. The woman who was with the victim then ran away and was not found. The victim was taken to a local hospital and suffered life-threatening injuries and is investigating the incident.
