The dangers of “digital twins” revealed in AI newsletters

Welcome to Fox News’ artificial intelligence newsletter with the latest AI advancements.

In today’s newsletter:

-AI “Digital Twins” is distorting political reality, leaving Deepfake victims with little choice for legal action
– Scarlett Johansson warns AI of danger, saying “no borders here”
– Openai makes key recommendations for Trump’s action plan to maintain China’s technological leadership

New reality: Artificial intelligence (AI) is producing highly realistic “digital twins” of politicians, celebrities, pornographic materials, and more – making victims of Deepfake technology work to determine legal recourse.

No boundaries: Scarlett Johansson used her portrait and voice without permission, so she made a voice on AI. Last year, Johansson said she was asked by CEO Sam Altman to make a sound at Openai’s chatbot, but turned down the job, just to get people noticing that the feature, called “Sky,” sounded almost exactly like an actress. “Especially on AI pieces,” the 40-year-old told Instyle Magazine earlier this month. “It’s like: If this could happen to me, how would we protect ourselves from this? There are no boundaries here; we’re setting ourselves up to take advantage of our strengths.”

Maintaining the dominance of the United States: Openai has responded to Trump’s White House information on developing an action plan for artificial intelligence (AI) to ensure the U.S. continues to lead China’s technology.

Next gear: Are you ready to use your daily commute to catch up with your favorite shows, reply to emails or simply enjoy the vision without worrying about the road ahead? This vision for the future has become increasingly realistic due to advances in autonomous driving technology. Stellantis, parent company of brands such as Dodge, Jeep and Chrysler, has just launched its STLA Autodrive 1.0 system, which the company hopes will revolutionize the way we drive soon.
