South African President signed a controversial land acquisition method

South Africa President Cyril Ramaphosa signed a bill that the bill will allow the government to occupy land without paying compensation. Some people in the government say this is a threat to private ownership.
According to the BBC, the law replaced the 1975 democratic collection bill, “outline how the government is requisitioned on the basis of the country.”
The party of Ramaphosa, the African National Assembly or the African National Assembly (ANC) calls the law a “important milestone”. However, some members of the government said they would challenge the legitimacy of the law.

For more than 30 years after the ethnic isolation, most black people in the country have only a small part of farmland. According to news reports, most land owners are part of white ethnic minorities.
The new law allows the collection of land only if it is “fair, fair and in line with public interest” without compensation.
This includes that when the property is not used, the property is not intended to develop the property or constitutes a public safety risk.
