Small plane crashes outside home near Temple City

A small plane crashed outside a Temple City home early Monday, fire officials said.
Los Angeles County firefighters responded to reports of a single-engine plane crashing near the 4900 block of Arden Drive in Temple City around 8 a.m.
Los Angeles County Fire Department spokesman Luis Garcia said the plane hit a green space outside a home but did not hit any buildings.
Firefighters were assessing the injuries of two people inside the plane, Garcia said. No further information on their conditions was immediately available.
Television news footage from the scene showed a plane wedged between trees and houses. It’s unclear what caused the plane to crash.
A few days ago, a small plane crashed into a commercial building in Fullerton, killing two people and injuring 18 others.
