Shakira postponed after hospitalization of “abdominal problems”

Shakira, 48, wrote via social media on Sunday, February 16: “I’m sorry I had to go to the emergency room for abdominal problems last night and am currently in hospital. With the communication, my condition is not Good, can’t perform tonight.”
She continued: “I’m so sad that I can’t get on stage today. I’ve been looking forward to reunite with my incredible fans in Peru. I hope it will be released tomorrow so I can perform. My team and the promoters are already working hard to communicate with you New date. Thank you for your understanding, I love you all.”
The message simply signed: “Shak.”

Shakira kicked her away Las Mujeres ya no lloran World Tour Tuesday, February 11, in Rio de Janeiro. After taking stage in Brazil, Shakira is scheduled to perform in Peru on Sunday and Monday, February 17.

Shakira also performed at the awards ceremony, ending the speech by yelling at the kids. (Shakira shares Milan, 12, and Sasha, 10, Gerard Piqué. Together, the two confirmed their split in a joint statement in 2022.

A day later, Shakira reflected the victory in a social media post.
“Thank you for this best Latin pop album, I have a lot of fun with this performance!” Shakira wrote on February 3. “It’s a dream to be surrounded by so many great artists and friends in one of the best Grammy editions of all time. Can’t wait to see your #lmynlworldtour on my tour! #Grammys.”
