Awards season always kicks off with the Golden Globes — and 2025 is no exception.
While the awards show is still considered “Hollywood’s party of the year,” things have changed a bit over the past 25 years. The 2000s Golden Globes featured post-breakup couples and gowns that were considered throwbacks.
HBO celebrated as the Hollywood Foreign Press Association presented the trophy at the 57th Golden Globe Awards on January 23, 2000 sex and city and The Sopranos, Denzel Washington and Hillary Swank Received a huge honor, the fledgling Pixar proved its mettle.
