“I have no idea [if] We’ll definitely miss it [the show] Because now we share our lives on our terms, it’s a gift,” Tori, 33, said in an episode on Wednesday, February 5 Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolopodcast of the same name. “We can control the narrative of what is displayed, especially our children are involved. We can choose what we share with them.”
Tori and Zach, now 34, shared that while they won’t miss out on the shooting aspect, they did miss the “connections” they made behind the scenes. Zach starred in the TLC series, which premiered in 2006 with his parents in 2006 Mart and Amy With brothers and sisters Jeremy,,,,, Molly and Jacob. The show follows the family to run a farm in Oregon.
Zach met Tori while working together on the farm. The two ended in 2015 and have been welcoming three children since then: 7-year-old Jackson Kyle, 5-year-old Lilah Ray, and Josiah Luke, 2 February 2nd. In February 2024, Zach and Tori announced they will withdraw Small people, big world.
Despite their satisfaction with the decision to leave, Zach admitted he had a different feeling about whether he could see his family return to TV at some point.
“It’s also tough. On some days, I’m like, “Oh man, maybe we can do it” [it,]”He reflected on Wednesday. “Sometimes you have to remind yourself why we are leaving and then there are days when you wake up and drink too much coffee and you’re like, ‘We can do it again. ”

One thing Zach didn’t miss was having a regret interview for the show.
“When I say something and then have to repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat it, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, he said, because suddenly it brings new meanings.” “When I [say] Actually it’s no big deal, but now I feel it’s getting big. ”
Tori responded to a similar view, explaining that despite the issue being resolved in advance, she is still working to discuss the “conflict” on the show.
“Whenever there is a conflict, and then six months later, you resolve the conflict of anything we keep moving forward,” she recalls. “Six months later, you’re still talking about this conflict. It’s always frustrating. .”
Tory noted that it was difficult for her and Zach to share their problems when clashing with her husband on the show, because they were both “private”.
“Even by nature, we are not public debaters. If we have conflicts in public or [while] Let’s take a look with friends… we’ll talk about it later, and it’s never in front of others. “She explained. “It’s always very personal. Zach and I are not actors when it likes “you guys are going to argue about this.” We looked at each other and were like, “It’s awkward.”
Since they left reality TV, Zach and Tori have been looking for the next step for them and their families. The two expressed interest in getting fans to update their lives through online platforms.
“I think it’s hard to go back to the reality TV model right now in the new era of YouTube,” Zach said. “Because you can control your own media now and get as many views.”
