Russian leader responds to intense exchanges between Zelenskyy and Trump (Vance)
Russia loves the Oval Office wonder yesterday with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance. However, Russian voices from Russian President Vladimir Putin have not been heard, and he has not commented on the situation at the time of writing.
Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, a staunch defender of Putin, was delighted by the “proper slap” that Zelenskyy received at the hands of Trump and Vance. In the same post on X, Medvedev wrote that Trump was right about Ukraine “gambling with World War II.”
Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Maria Zakharova said it was a “miracle” Trump, who stopped himself from hitting Zelenskyy during the intense exchanges.

Ukrainian ambassador’s reaction to hot Trump-Zelenskyy Oval Office conflict is all the rage
It’s not only something Russian leaders celebrate; government-run media members are also intoxicated by the craze.

World Leaders Return to Zelenskyy After Trump, Vance Oval Office Spit
Following the tense Oval Office meeting, leaders from around the world condemned Trump and Vance’s actions and expressed support for Ukraine. French President Emmanuel Macron, who recently met with Trump in Washington, DC, expressed support in an article on X.
“There is an invader: Russia. There is a victim: Ukraine. Three years ago, we could help Ukraine and sanction Russia and continue to do so.” “We mean Americans, Europeans, Canadians, Japanese and many others.”
British Prime Minister Kier Starmer has not made public comments, and British Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch delivered a speech in support of Ukraine, writing: “We need to remember that the villain is a war crime criminal who illegally invaded another sovereign state – Ukraine – Ukraine.”
“Canada will continue to stand with Ukrainians and Ukrainians for just and lasting peace,” wrote ardent Trump critic Justin Trudeau.
Tensions between Washington and Kiev were evident before the Oval Office exchanged any words. On February 19, President Trump called President Zelenskyy a “dictator” in a post about the Truth Society. But when asked about his comments during his meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Trump seemed to back down and said, “Do I say that?”
The Trump administration’s attitude towards Kiev makes the Biden administration different from that of the Biden administration. Biden made clear his pro-Ukrainian position after the February 2022 invasion, although in January 2022 hints that a “slight invasion” would result in lesser consequences. On the other hand, Trump told the media a few minutes before the exchange that he would not occupy Russia or Ukraine. Instead, he “is not aligned with anyone. I am aligned with the interests of the United States of America and the world.”

Zelenskyy did not apologize for the intense exchange in an exclusive interview with Fox News chief political host Bret Baier, but he admitted it was “not good for both sides.”
“I just want to be honest, I just want our partners to understand the situation correctly, I want everything right. It’s about us not losing friendship,” Zelenskyy said in the Special Report.
