Republicans propose measures to call for $250 for Trump

R-SC Rep. Joe Wilson announced that he plans to propose a proposal to create a $250 bill for President Donald Trump.
In an article on X, the MP announced: “Thanks me for announcing that I am drafting legislation to guide the Engraving and Printing Bureau to design a $250 bill.”
“Bidding has damaged the economy and forced American families to carry more cash. The most valuable bill for the most valuable president!” he added.

Current U.S. law shows that only portraits of the deceased can appear on U.S. currency and securities.
Wilson has not been the only Republican member who wants to respect the current president for two decades in the House of Representatives.
R-FLA. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna proposed a measure last month to add Trump’s similarities to Mount Rushmore.

Her proposing text reads: “The Secretary of the Interior, through the Director of the National Park Service, should arrange for the carving of President Donald J. Trump at the Mount Rushmore National Memorial.”
Four presidents on Mount Rushmore include George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln.
“President Trump’s bold leadership and firm dedication have cemented his place in history. Mount Rushmore is an eternal symbol of freedom and strength in our country, worthy of reflecting his towering legacy that further strengthens the strong start of his second term,” Luna said.
