Richard Gere And his wife Alejandra Silva Look absolutely happy and in love on Friday, February 7 at the 2025 Goya Awards in Granada, Spain.
Gere, 75, attended the event in a classic black tuxedo. Silva, 41, was shocked in an Armani Privé gown with jewellery finish. The two have been married since 2018.
Gere and Silva, who share their two sons, moved to Spain in early 2025. The two have been with ElleEspaña Published on January 21.
“The kids don’t want me to leave this morning,” he told the media at the time. “They asked me about their mother and I told them she was having a meeting.”
Silva also said that although many people might have any ideas about the actor, he is a family man. Richard is a very religious father. He likes to read their stories. It seems like an idyllic photo, but it is the truth. He is a great father,” she explained.
“He doesn’t cook,” she added. “I do that, but when I cook, he plays the guitar.”
The actor also said the family thrives in their new home. “The truth is, you see us in our momentum. We are happier than ever,” he explained. “She, because she’s at home and me, because, if she’s happy, I’ll be happy.”
Gere had previously explained that the family decided to move to Spain, partly because Silva moved to the United States after meeting in 2014. “My wife is Spanish and she gave me about seven years here in Madrid with her family. Our kids are bilingual, so they will thrive there,” he told Jimmy Fallon During the November 2024 appearance Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.
Silva also told Spanish media that she and Jill were “soul mates”. As she said, “We have the same values, we see the world in the same way, and from the first moment, we feel like we’ve known each other for a long time. And, this only happens once, if it happens Once…we are united with the karma of our previous life.”
Silva’s 11-year-old son in his previous marriage also moved to Spain. Gere’s 24-year-old son Homer chose to stay in New York City, where he had his own acting career.
For his part, Gray was a supporter of change. “We can all minimize this self, the feeling of self. That’s when real change happens,” he said. “My wife shines with her open heart and true gratitude. So whether you think it is spiritual or religious, love or compassion…it’s infinite.”
