Ramaswami says childcare hostility comes from “irrationality” to defend Trump, Musk

Although he left the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) with Ohio Governor candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, he believes he knows the roots of the hostility Musk faces and his waste slamming the agency.

“This comes from an irrational place. In the past few years, people have suffered from Trump’s Danger Syndrome. This dangerous syndrome has now expanded to include Elon and others’ syndromes.”

Trump President Elon Musk

Since taking office, President Donald Trump, Elon Musk and Horsehead agenda have been under increasing scrutiny by several Democrats and the media.

The latest wave of criticism faced by the Tesla founder involves his South African heritage.

“view” Co-host Joy Behar After claiming that Elon Musk was “pro-apartheid,” corrected himself on Thursday, admitting she really didn’t know if he was.

In the first part of Thursday’s show, Behar described Musk as “the man who was not born in this country, who was born under the segregation of South Africa, and that mentality continues. He understands that he is pro-apartheid.”

She added: “I think it’s great for Trump. He can take a nap and let this foreigner – foreign agent, you know, be the enemy of the United States – do his job.”

Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin pointed out that South Africa-born Musk was a naturalized citizen of the United States earlier in the discussion after Behar made this claim.

“I’d be feeling a little uncomfortable because I said Musk was pro-apartheid. I’m really not sure if he was,” Behar said at the beginning of the second part. “He grew up at that time, when it was matured before the great Nelson Mandela repaired. He was around at the time – maybe he was, maybe not. He might be a young man too, so don’t sue me, okay, Elon?”

Trump, Musk supports Ohio Governor Vivek Ramaswamy

D-Ohio’s Rep. Marcy Kaptur sparked a fire on social media through comments Musk’s Loyalty to the United States, given that he has only been “only” citizens for 22 years.

“Mr. Musk has just been here for 22 years,” Kapoor said Wednesday. “And he is a citizen of three countries. I always ask myself a question about the damage he causes here, when the push pushes, is his loyalty to South Africa? Canada? or the United States? He is just a citizen, and I’ll say 22 years.”

Kaptur, who has served in Congress since 1983, raised criticism on conservative social media, accused her of hypocrisy and using language that Republicans would be deprived of.

Despite criticism of the latest criticism, Ramaswamy praised the Trump administration for “leading us into the golden age of America.”

“The new golden age of our country will also be the golden age of federalism, too. Just kick it to states. That’s what our founders envisioned,” Ramaswamy told Fox News host Jesse Watters. “Take it out of Washington, D.C., and I think it’s good for not only Republicans, but Democrats across the country, who deserve to be transparent about their taxpayers’ money and because there’s no more waste, fraud and abuse in the system, taxes should be lowered.”

The multi-millionaire entrepreneur also said he wanted to see “the lasting change through legislative codification becomes lasting change.”

“We have to make sure these are permanent changes, and I have confidence,” he said. “These steps are taken from the door. You have to go quickly. When Donald Trump gets the task assigned to him, you have to go quickly. The task given by voters to Donald Trump is not changing gradually around the edge. The task last November was a task of sweeping the country, a task of positive change.”

The Ohio Republican Party also hopes to respond to those who claim that the administration is “moving too quickly”, believing the problem is the first “four years.”

“The problem is that we have four years of open borders, overspending, victim culture, indoctrination, racial preferences,” Ramaswami said. “In that context, irritation, national debt, foreign wars infiltrate this country the largest illegal immigration in U.S. history. If you’re not moving fast about those four years, that’s exactly what Donald Trump did, and that’s how we want to win our country.”

After months of speculation, Ramaswamy officially announced the candidate for Ohio governor at a rally in Cincinnati on Monday.

Republican Ohio Governor Mike Dewine is term-limited once his second term expires in January 2027. The governor’s competition will be held in November 2026.

Fox News Digital’s Ashley Carnahan, Landon Mion, Andrew Mark Miller and Hanna Panreck contributed to the report.
