Prince Harry’s immigration records will be released partially by DHS

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will make some changes in the lawsuit to conduct the royal relocation to the United States to release Prince Harry’s immigration records.
The move comes after federal judge Carl Nichols ordered the agency to provide the court with an edited version of Harry’s archives for review, according to a report from the New York Post.
It is controversial whether the British Royals lied to immigration documents when they moved to the United States in 2020 or were given priority treatment, Harry later appeared in his memoir “Arbitrage”, which was released in 2023, and he had used illegal drugs. .

The conservative think tank Legacy Foundation sued DHS in an attempt to free Harry’s record, hoping to discover whether the 40-year-old royal failed to disclose his previous drug use in his immigration application.
The agency said in a filing filed with the court by the Department of Homeland Security that it could hand over “item 1-3” of Harry’s record with some modifications, but would not issue “item 4.”

It is unclear what information the DHS set to release will contain, although Nichols said at a hearing earlier this month that he hopes to disclose records “in stages” to prevent violations of U.S. privacy laws.
The report states that the DHS must provide an edited version of the records reviewed by the judge by March 6.
Nile Gardiner, director of the Margaret Thatcher Freedom Center at the Heritage Foundation, believes that “transparency” is important when dealing with immigration cases.

“It’s important because it’s a matter of rule of law, transparency and accountability. No one should go beyond the law,” Gardner said earlier this month. “Donald Trump is on a strict border The era of regulatory enforcement has ushered in a new era, and you know, Prince Harry should be fully considering his acknowledgement of large amounts of illegal drug use.”
The Department of Homeland Security did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for digital comment.
