Portmiami welcomes 10 recorded 10 cruise ships docked at Seaport on February 8, 2025.
10 cruise ships are: Carnival Magic, Carnival Sunrise, Netherlands USA Zaandam, MSC Seascape, Norwegian Escape, Norwegian Gem, Oceania Cruise Sirena, Sirena of Caribbean, Oceanic Idol of Royal Caribbean, Royal Caribbean Home of the Caribbean Sea’s ocean independence, ocean independence and Virgin Atlantic’s Scarlets Scarlet Lady.

Nearly 68,000 passengers are expected to be on board the cruise ship.
“It’s not surprising that Portmiamimi continues to break records,” said Miami Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava. “Portmiami is the departure option for all major cruise ships .”

New ship, power comes to Portmiamiami
The 2025 season is full of new cruise ships sailing from Portmiamiami. Including Cunard Queen Anne (January 2025), Masters World of the United States (April 2025), Norwegian Water (April 2025), Queen Elizabeth (October 2025) ), the Lady of Virgin’s Brilliant Navigation (October 2025) and Oceania Cruise (November 2025).
Another historical milestone that has occurred recently is the shore power launched on June 17, 2024.
Coastal power allows cruise ships to turn off the engine and plug in land power when docking, reducing emissions and noise. Portmiami is Miami Dade County, Carnival Corporation and PLC, MSC Cruises, MSC Cruises, MSSC Cruises, Norwegian Cruises, Royal Caribbean Group, Virgin Voyages and Florida Power & Light Company, Portmiami is the United States East The first major cruise port on the coast of five Coastal power capacity of cruising berths.

Portmiami adds more parking spaces
Additionally, Portmiami and Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings recently shared that the Miami-Dade County Commissioner Commission has approved Norwegians to be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the existing Cruise Terminal B Average, as well as the launch of new Multipurpose parking spaces Portmiamimi facilities.
“This critical milestone highlights the commitment and partnership between Miami-Dade County and NCLH to meet its growing passenger volume and existing parking needs in Portmiamimi,” port officials said.

During the first 30 years of this Agreement, the Norwegian also promised to increase its guaranteed passenger movement in Portmiami from approximately 50 million to nearly 75 million passengers.
Portmiami welcomes 7,299,294 cruise vacationers in 2023 and plans to exceed that number, thanks in part to the new state-of-the-art Cruise Terminals and built with innovative funding from Cruise Lines.
