“16 days, I’m going home!!!” Mellencamp, 43, wrote a video with her in the car uploaded to her Instagram story on Tuesday, March 4, “Thanks to all my love and lifeguards for getting me through it.”

“I started slowly. Obviously, watching the body changes with a lot of medications from brain tumors, which is obviously very exciting,” she told the camera. “but [I’m] Just wanted to remember how grateful I was to be able to move my body again. ”
In the subsequent snapshot, Teddi shows that her body is sensitive and “bruised and swelled.”
“I know I can do this,” she wrote. “F-Crying. I can do the hard things.”

Last month, Teddi revealed that she had suffered a “severe and debilitating headache” for weeks before going to the hospital for treatment.
“Yesterday, the pain was unbearable and required hospitalization. After a CT scan and an MRI, the doctors found multiple tumors in my brain, which they thought had been growing for at least six months,” she wrote via Instagram on February 12. “I’m lucky to be surrounded by my children, family, friends, doctors, doctors, nurses, nurses and surgeons who are doing everything they can to improve my health. Thank you to everyone who reached out and supported everyone on this journey.”
Nearly two weeks later, Teddi updated her condition.

“I thank the incredible surgeons, doctors and nurses for being more comfortable,” Teddi shared via Instagram at the time. “In full transparency, more tumors were removed than expected: 4 in total. The battle is not over, but that round has won.”
In addition to her health struggle, Teddy also has Edwin Arroyave. The couple shared their daughters Slate, 12, and Dove and Son Cruz, 4, who announced their split in November 2024. However, a source told us weekly Teddi and Arroyave are currently in “good conditions” and prioritize recovery before completing their breakup.
“Divorce is not the focus of anyone at the moment,” the insider explained. “Edwin wants to come there for Teddi and his family in any way they need to.”
