Captain Igor Kshnyakin and co-pilot Alexander Kalyaninov were both Russians with Azerbaijani nationality, as well as flight attendant Hokuma Hokuma Aliyeva rests in peace in Baku.
They were fully honored earlier on Sunday at a commemorative event in the Alley of Honor in central Baku, attended by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and his wife Mehriban.
The pilots were praised in Azerbaijan for landing in a manner that allowed 29 people to survive but led to their own deaths.
