allegheny county schools
according to a Facebook postAllegheny High School, Glade Creek School, Piney Creek School, and Sparta Elementary School in Sparta, NC will host a distance learning day for all students on Monday, January 13, 2025. Employees will comply with Code E.
guilford county schools
Guilford County Schools released the following statement Sunday:
Due to ongoing hazardous conditions on secondary roadways, Guilford County Schools will conduct remote instruction on Monday, January 13th. All other employees will operate according to Plan B. Meals will be provided to school-age children at Dudley High, Rankin Elementary and Union Hill Elementary from noon to 1 p.m. Meals will be served on a first-come, first-served basis and must be consumed on site.

Lexington City Schools
Lexington City Schools released the following statement Sunday:
Due to expected severe weather on Monday, January 13, 2025, the school will closed to studentsall evening activities are cancelled.
For employees, Monday will be Optional working days with a 3 hours delay. Please use your best judgment regarding travel conditions. If you are unable to travel safely, please notify your principal or supervisor and coordinate accordingly.
Assignments or exams scheduled for that day will be postponed to a later date.
