Patrick Mahomes’ teammates: “Revenge Journey” leader QB after Super Bowl defeat
The Kansas City Chiefs were unable to make NFL history earlier this month as they fell into the 40-22-year-old Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl Lix in New Orleans.
It was a game, and quarterback Patrick Mahomes had no features, many of which were related to the Eagles’ constant stress in their pockets. Still, the throwing multiple interceptions and the lack of some open players are very different from the Mahomes – the pressure in the pocket.
So, as Mahomes and the Chiefs enter the 2025 offseason, a teammate knows that a “revenge journey” for two MVP signal callers is brewing.

Defensive end Charles Omenihu made a appearance on “UP & Adams” thanks to his performance in Super Bowl LVIII, answering questions about where host Kay Adams will be in the next 10 months .
“On the journey of revenge,” Omenihu replied. “Just the extreme focus, more control over the organization. We’ll make my boy Rashee [Rice] Come back, so this will be great [Xavier Worthy] Have been playing. Hopefully we can find out the rest. ”

Rashee Rice, who suffered a season-end injury at the beginning of the 2024 season, could face a suspension for eight felony charges he faced in part with six Dallas crashes. The NFL is awaiting legal proceedings.
However, Mahomes and the Chiefs must love what they saw from rookie first-round Xavier Worthy, who got better a week ago and had a big impact on the path to another Super Bowl.

Kansas City will continue to build around Mahomes, but Meenihu knows his teammates may still be kicking themselves after what happened to the Caesar Super Balm.
“He probably feels he doesn’t have the best performance, and he’s who he is and the best quarterback in the league, and he wants to come back and have one of those big seasons,” Omenihu said.
“So, I think it’s definitely a guy who does the mission.”
Mahomes finished the Super Bowl with 257 yards passes and two interceptions, although most of them were too few in the fourth quarter and too late in the attempt to make a comeback.

In the 2024 regular season, Mahomes did not have a habit of production, not reaching 4,000 yards for the first time since becoming a full-time starter in Kansas City. Still, he passed 11 interceptions with 3,928 yards and 26 touchdowns, winning 15-1 in that game.
