Joy Wesley’s Trouble at Salem: A Hard Start of Our Life
Joey has not had good luck since she came to Salem. Her mom, Nancy Wesley (Patrika Darbo), dragged her there for a soap audition. Then she found the job and it seemed that her dream came true.
But it was a nightmare from her tenure in Salem. Before Joey even auditioned for soap, if you remember, she met a very strange guy who was a very frustrated Johnny Dimera (Carson Boatman).
That comes back, and he thinks Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) cheated with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) due to his identity error. Dr. Seth saw Alex at the top of a set of lucky ladies in body and soul.
Seth didn’t look closely. He thinks it’s Alex’s scene partner Chanel, not Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein). Johnny immediately thought the worst we had to do with our wives in our lives.
Joey was listening to Johnny Rant that night about his cheating wife, a wife she didn’t know, she had never seen her, and she was new in town.
Alex and Joy’s Connection: From Friendship to Bedroom
Alex and Johnny returned to the Salem Inn room and started to get fanatic, but then they stopped. They did not make a deed. Meanwhile, Alex and Joey become friends after Soap hit the date ban and Stephanie.
Until New Year’s Eve, they gradually became friends. At that time, Joy attended the Dimera party as Alex’s date. That night, everything exploded. Chanel is angry at Joy, who insists it is a huge mistake.

Joey then found that the soap was over, which meant moving to Los Angeles or losing his job. She was going to move, but then recast. Worse, she was in trouble with Alex, who obviously only regarded her as a casual thing just because he didn’t have Stephanie.
Joy then even kissed Stephanie before he called it a resignation, and she still felt poisoned and dying. That was just a big event for Joey.
Then, voila, her period was very late. Now we know she is pregnant, but she lies and tells Alex and Stephanie she is not. I’m sure it’s because Joey knows Alex doesn’t want her to be in our days.
He is a high heel for Stephanie. After the drama caught between Johnny and Chanel, it’s the last thing Joey wants.
But given that she can’t hide the baby forever, Alex may have lie when she said she wasn’t pregnant. Unless Joey finds someone else in our days to play the little daddy.
Can Philip Kiriakis be our fake dad for life?
Just the other day, if you remember, Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) was upset to see Joy sitting in the town square. He asked if he had anything to help. Philip knows Joey is not satisfied with him because of how he is his sister Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin).
But Joey is willing to give up on this and make it a thing of the past. She then asked Philip to find a job. He achieved this. I wonder if Joey will seek greater favor from Philip in the future. I mean, it would be ugly, but would Joey ask Philip to pretend she was her little dad?
Now he is a few years older than Joey and is dating her sister Chloe. Therefore, it causes eyebrows. But I also guessed that if Joey asked, Philip’s knee reaction was to say no, I don’t know, there was no way.
But don’t forget, Philip has a big secret. Both Sarah Holden (Linsey Godfrey) and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) knew about Vivian Alamain’s forgery letter, which the messenger court provided Philip with half of the Titan.
Taking advantage of Philip’s Secret: The Soap Twist of Days
Every now and then, Kate fell down in the office and talked about it. Sarah talks with Philip from time to time about fraud at home. So, Joey might hear Philip’s dirty secret and use it to help him help her make a dirty secret.
So he might help cover up Alex’s pregnancy. I can’t imagine Philip agreeing to be her fake dipper without finding his hand without having a happy time. I think she could achieve that, despite disturbing him due to Chloe.
Philip’s fraud is indeed his only dirty secret now. So Joy has to find out, or somehow just massage what he does to Chloe. However, Joey’s use of Philip as a fake father for the baby would be very typical soap, so that’s reasonable.
Avoid Alex and Stephanie: Joey’s motivation for the days we live
Once the joy starts to show, Alex and Stephanie can do math. Maybe they figured out that Joy was carrying Alex’s baby, which wasn’t the ideal result for joy. But it would be even better if she could avoid any problems by having false romance with others.
She doesn’t want to watch their perfect romance after Alex and Stephanie reject her. If Joey and Alex had a child, they would be in her face all their lives. That’s why Joy minds pregnancy test results.
She doesn’t want to be a barrier to Alex and Stephanie’s happiness. Joy wants your own happiness.
Clumsy entanglement and potential romance to Dool
What’s even more embarrassing is that Philip was once engaged to Stephanie. He has prepared a hot topic for her recently. But in a sense, it could also be a reason for joy to convince Philip to fake her and pretend she is the baby’s father.
You know, Philip might hope this will show Stephanie that he has ended her. That being abandoned by her did not disturb him. Of course, if Chloe or Nancy returns to Salem and Joy is a fake date Philip and is pregnant, they will explode at him.
I think it would be better if Joey was a fake date for Philip and then it turned into real romance because Joey needed some love in her life, and so did Philip. So, this could be a possible solution to Joey’s pregnancy problem. We’ll find out more soon and see if Philip is involved.
