Orlando Racing Mourns the Loss of 7-year-old towing racer Elienisse Díaz Rodriguez

A towing racing race in Orlando, Florida mourns the loss of a 7-year-old girl who died after being injured in an accident over the weekend.
Elienisse Zoe Díaz Rodriguez died Tuesday after an accident at Orlando Speed World Dragway on Sunday. Her family said on GoFundMe’s account that she “fighted for her own life” before announcing her brain death at 10:54 p.m. Tuesday.
Orange County Fire Rescue Company received reports of accidents on the 911 car with Orlando Speed World Track at 11:20 a.m. Sunday.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Rodriguez was racing while racing, and before hitting a concrete wall, she lost control of it, hitting a 34-year-old Safety Guide Staff. The employee was taken to the hospital and suffered inanimate injuries.

The Orlando Racing said in a Facebook post that the “tragic incident” was “deeply sad”, providing “thinking and prayer” to the little girl’s loved ones and the racing community.
Motorsport is built on passion, but moments like this remind us of the risks we love. Although the injury can be cured, the pain of the loss is immeasurable,” the post section says.
It concluded: “In this difficult time, we stand in support, mourn and prayer. We express our deepest condolences to those who are sad and will continue to elevate them in our minds.”

According to Fox 35, Rodriguez is a first-year student at the Orlando Islamic Christian School, described by school officials as bright and beautiful.
“She is a bright light in our school community and we are grateful for the time we have been with her. We will all miss her beautiful smile deeply,” the school said in a statement. “We will make Elienisse’s memory Close to our hearts. Thank you for your understanding and support as we come together to mourn this loss and remember the joy she brings to us all.”
