Officials say Chinese Coast Guard vessel ignores warnings and enters Philippine waters

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) issued a warning on Friday, January 17, to a Chinese vessel that was illegally approaching Philippine territory and has been monitoring the Chinese vessel for the past two weeks.

Video from PCG spokesman Jay Tarriela showed a PCG vessel issuing a warning over the radio, while Chinese Coast Guard vessel 5901 could be seen nearby.
