The prophet of prophets is here again

French astrologer Nostradamus has long been a hot topic at midnight on New Year’s Eve, with the prophet’s predictions – albeit highly subjective and even more controversial – attracting curiosity about the year ahead.
Unfortunately, Quatrains focusing on 2025 is rather dull, bordering on confusing.
But alas, here they are…

Last year, Nostradamus predicted suffering for members of the royal family. Now he witnessed a devastating return of war and plague in England.
“The kingdom will experience such brutal warfare, and enemies from within and without will emerge. The plagues of the past are back with a vengeance, and there is no deadlier enemy under the sky.”

While not groundbreaking, predictions like this create some eye-opening scenarios for the domestic and international political landscape of 2025.
Nostradamus said, “The influence of the old Western countries will weaken, and new world powers will emerge.”
A long war is coming to an end

While Nostradamus predictions have often been filled with damaging drag lately, this prediction is more on the positive side.
The Prophet noted: “After long wars, all the armies are exhausted, so they cannot find money to give to the soldiers; instead of gold and silver, they will be given coins, leather, Gallic brass, and crescent moon symbols.”
Could we see the end of the Russia-Ukraine war that started in 2022 in the coming year?

While the war may be over, the good vibes will soon be shattered by the end of the world – thanks to a giant asteroid.
Nostradamus wrote: “A ball of fire will rise from the universe, a harbinger of destiny, the world pleads. Science and destiny in a cosmic dance, the fate of the Earth, a second chance.”
Apparently, this prophet ignored the fact that we already have a blueprint to prevent such a catastrophe, the 1998 hit “Doomsday.”

Before the end of the world, climate catastrophes are expected to hit Brazil through massive floods and volcanic eruptions.
Nostradamus noted: “The Garden of the World near New City, on the paths of the Hollow Mountains: it will be caught and thrown into baths, and forced to drink water poisoned with sulfur.”

Nostradamus put some spin on this, stating that a “mysterious leader” would rise and form an “aquatic empire.”
