North Las Vegas police searching for armed, ‘extremely dangerous’ teen accused of shooting and killing
LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — North Las Vegas police are searching for an armed and “extremely dangerous” teen accused of shooting a man.
North Las Vegas police received reports of a shooting at an apartment in the 2900 block of East Centennial Avenue near North Pecos Road around 9 a.m. Sunday.
When police arrived, they found a man, later identified by the Clark County Coroner’s Office as 33-year-old Corey Dennis, with an apparent gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was later pronounced dead.
Disagreement leads to fatal shooting in North Las Vegas; suspect on the run
The suspect left the scene before police arrived. On Tuesday, police identified the suspect as 16-year-old Arnaz Jones.
Jones is described as a 16-year-old black boy with a medium-length afro, black hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with red, black and white lettering on the front and back.

Detectives believe Jones is armed and “extremely” dangerous. Anyone who sees Jones should not approach him and call 911 immediately.
Police said the shooting was the result of a disagreement between Dennis and Jones.
