NBA All-Star Game: Damian Lillard loses challenge to college students

18-year-old college student Jaren Barajas will never forget a “life-changing” moment that he can add to his youthful resume to his 3-pointer game Beat the perennial NBA All-Star.

Jaren Barajas won the “Mrbeast Logo Shooting Challenge” Sunday night as he nailed a shot from Deep, not only defeating Milwaukee Bucks star Damian Lillard, but also winning $100,000.

“It means the world to me, and it will greatly help my family and definitely my future,” Barajas said through the Associated Press. “Hopefully this will help me pay for my education.”

Barajas only had to hit one shot from the depths, while Lillard was appointed three logo 3s. As the clock ended, Barajas threw one as the buzzer rang, and the multi-colored ball splashed onto the hoop.

The ball hit the rebound before entering, and as the expression passed, the bank opened. It fills out Barajas’ own bank account in the process.

Warriors’ Draymond Green has sparked opposition from NBA greats in comments about the All-Star Game “Born” game

“It’s still on the wires, we have 30 seconds left, and my dad always tells me, ‘Use rebounds.'” “That’s what I’m going to do.”

Interestingly, Barajas didn’t know he was going to the Chase Center and saw the 2025 NBA All-Star Game on Sunday night because he wanted to go, but not on the calendar.

His father, Michael Barajas, found the ticket price he had been looking for and took the opportunity to surprise his son. If that surprises Jaren, imagine how he was asked to play.

“I was surprised by these tickets yesterday, so I didn’t even know I was going to compete, so having this experience was so surreal. I’m so grateful.”

Michael added: “He wanted to go to the game and the prices were high, so I kept watching the prices go down and once I found an affordable place, I bought them, I bought them yesterday and surprised him. I was simply Can’t believe we’re here, but I’m glad he deserves it and I’m proud of him.”

Jaren will never forget the bank shooting, especially when he celebrated with Shaquille O’Neal and Kenny Smith, he immediately celebrated on the court. Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry smiled his ears as the crowd roared.
