Nationals, Rangers close to trade involving Nathaniel Lowe

Nationals and Rangers are in final stages of trade that would send Nathaniel Lowe ESPN’s Jeff Passan reports from Washington (multiple links). Texas will receive left-hander Robert Garcia At the end of their one-on-one exchange.
Lowe will be traded to another team for the second time in his career, as just over four years ago, Lowe was traded from the Rays to the Rangers as part of a six-player swap. The Rays’ first base depth left Lowe struggling for playing time in his first two MLB seasons, but he found it immediately after Texas made him their everyday first baseman A regular job. In four seasons with the Rangers, Lowe has appeared in 615 of 648 regular season games, hitting .274/.359/.432 with 78 home runs in 2,576 games.
