Nineties pop stars Dane Bowers, 5ive's Abz Love and Phats & Small’s Ben Ofoedu were kicked out of a Butlins holiday park venue after becoming "drunk" and "abusive" after performing at a retro group event.

The super group, all in their 40s and 50s reportedly grew unruly through the night and were said to be hitting the booze heavily at the Skegness holiday park.

A source told The Sun: "They were clearly pretty drunk and it didn’t take long for them to start mouthing off. One started shouting ‘Don’t mess with me. I’ve got connections."

"It was very embarrassing", the source revealed.

Infamous lothario, Dane had reportedly been trying to bring girls backstage despite earlier warnings from management.

Onlookers say security were called to remove the super group from the venue, the bandmates were then escorted back to their beds for their own safety.

Boyzone's Shane Lynch who was also a part of the group didn't attend this performance.

A representative for the band blamed an unnamed member of the group for the collective's unruly and drunk behaviour.

The quartet, known as Boys on the Block, are currently touring holiday camps.

They formed after appearing on Sky One's game show Never Mind the Buzzocks, releasing their first single, a cover of K-Ci & JoJo's "All My Life" was last year.

The group have also covered East 17's hit Christmas track "Stay Another Day".

Speaking to the Express, Dane revealed the group had come together "organically".

"When we met, we were all booked on a show where we were all booked for the same thing a year and a half ago.

"It was just one of those organic things when we were all on stage at separate times doing separate shows, and something made us get up and perform on stage together," he said.

Daily Star has contacted Boyz on Block's spokesman for further comment.
