Sylvester Stallone branded ‘Grim Reaper’ by daughters over boyfriend treatment

Sylvester Stallone may be one of Hollywood's biggest stars but he has been branded the Grim Reaper by his daughters over the way he treats their love interests.

The action movie icon, famed for appearances in the Rocky franchise is said to "scare the s**t" out of their potential boyfriends.

Sylvester's daughters, Sistine, 23, and Sophia, 25, have reflected on the times they have brought a potential boyfriend home to meet their famous dad.

Speaking about the moment on their Unwaxed podcast, Sophia revealed that Sylvester, 75, left one potential boyfriend terrified when they arrived at her Hollywood home aged 19.

Recalling the moment, his oldest daughter said: "I was the first one to have a boyfriend and when you're the guinea pig, you never know what to expect when you bring a boyfriend home and this was in high school."

Sophia added that after being dropped off by a boyfriend after their third date, he got the fright of his life – rather than getting a kiss, the two got something they did not expect.

"My boyfriend looks up and goes, 'holy s**t, is that your dad?'" she said.

She went on to say: "He looks up and on the balcony on the second floor, the lights are pitch black except you have one in the bathroom and it's just a black silhouette of you standing looking over down.

"He got in his car and that was the last time I ever saw him, he never came back, he never called me back and I always say he was the one that got away.

"You're like the Grim Reaper in the corner."

The two siblings revealed that they went "fishing for two weeks" in order to get their dad to sit down on their podcast in order to celebrate their 50th episode.

Joking with his daughters, Sylvester joked: "I'd like to be known as The Podfather from now on."

The two revealed that their famous dad had been the "most requested" guest to appear on their sofa in front of their 27,100 subscribers on the video-sharing platform.

Sophia and Sistine joked that Sylvester had informed them that they "couldn't get married until they were 45".

"I think it's a great idea, still – what's the rush?" asked Sylvester.

It emerged that Sylvester had also written "every breakup text" for his two daughters if they couldn't face breaking someone's heart themselves.

"I don't feel sorry for any of them," added Slyvester who joked he "knew how to get rid of a guy" from his daughter's lives.

The sisters revealed that every day, their dad would wake them up at 6am for a series of exercises, ranging from sit-ups and push-ups before they headed to school, which he described as "being in the army".
