Former I'm A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! contestant, Nicola McLean slammed A Place In The Sun presenter Scarlette Douglas after her appearance in the 21st series of the ITV show.

The glamour model called Scarlette "annoying" and claimed the presenter was "trying to be bigger than she is".

Talking to The Daily Star on Instagram Live, Nicola said: "She's insecure about not being a big name, I didn't know her and I think she wants to be the biggest in there because she's not known".

Nicola, who it big as a Page 3 model for The Sun and The Daily Star, also shared a dislike for comedian Sean Walsh who's yet to enter the Celebrity jungle.

Speaking of his affair following the Strictly Curse, Nicola said: "People make mistakes and we can't say he can't go into the jungle for cheating on his Mrs, but I'm a girls girl so I'm not looking forward to him going in.

"I probably won't like him to be honest," she continued.

Nicola appeared in I'm A Celeb in 2008 alongside former King of the Jungle Joe Swash and Blue singer Simon Webbe. She made it to fifth place before she was eliminated from camp following a public vote.

Watching along this year, Nicola was initially rooting for Olivia Attwood to win, but following her shock exit just 24 hours in, Nicola is hoping to see Lioness Jill Scott or icon Boy George take the crown.

Now that Olivia isn't there I'm rooting for Boy George or Jill Scott. The support Jill was giving people, her calm tone, she'd make a really good campmate."

Despite already having a winner in mind, Nicola admitted she'd like to see "someone as fiery as Olivia" come into the jungle.

"I'd like to see Tanya Bardsley or Maura from Love Island go in, they need someone as fiery and relatable as Olivia," she said.
